I guess i'm not sure what you're asking - are you referring to running a centrifugal supercharger with a blow through carburetor? I'm more of a roots blower person and have no issues running it on anything. Aside from the initial capital cost of acquiring and setting up the supercharger (about the same for a roots v. centrifugal), you do not need to run a blowthrough carburetor(s) on a roots style blower. Obviously, it can be a lot cheaper building a naturally aspirated BBC, especially if your ultimate goal is to run a BBC.
