Re: BBC or SBC with blow thru set up?

IMO, Get a BBC. You will not regret it. I have a very mild cam in my 462 and run 91 octane. Yesterday, at about 40mph i gave about 3/4 throttle and i go sideways for about 50yards before letting off. If you plan on a turbo later then just do a 9.0-1 comp from the start. You can have a 600hp BB for about $5000. My brother had a 400hp 350 in an S-10 and even that was not as scary as this can be. If your dreaming of a BBC in the future, why waste the $$ now on a SBC?
