Sharpie,... I have a NOS outer grille in a box that I purchased from my local GM dealer in 1995.
It looks just like yours.
I'm not sure what made GM change the "horizontal" line issue.
(maybe a new set of dyes at the factory)
But,... most original trucks that I have seen,.... have the lines that extend all the way to the headlight bezel.
Your's, in my mind, is still an original GM outer grille.
