I was looking on O Reilly auto parts website the other day at Suburban tanks for my project. They list the physical dimensions of the tanks.

25 gallon Tank Dimensions: 28-3/4 x 28-1/8 x 10-3/4 Inch
31 gallon Tank Dimensions: 28-3/4 x 28-1/8 x 12-3/4 Inch
40 gallon Tank Dimensions: 35 x 28-3/4 x 13-1/8 Inch

Also, the prices are very decent versus mail order and paying shipping. It'd be nice to walk out of the local parts store with a tank instead of waiting for the UPS truck.
