well that's good to know. i may ask you about that fender pretty soon!
i'd be all for keeping it original. except for the steering, it's just not fun with the armstrong steering! if the drum brakes are working properly are they bad? if they are perfectly capable of stopping , i'd be content to leave them original as well. i'll get them all working properly and find out. i plan to drive it daily and i guess i'll just fix the things that bother me.
