Ebfabman has a DVD showing how he does it on a 67-72. You can also look at the body section, since this is a common rust area.

I haven't done it but I need to on mine as well. I'd say keep the cab on the truck and the truck on its wheels. Also fit the doors before welding and make sure they fit right.
