I recently bought a $500 longhorn...big block loaded. California truck so the cab is rust free. I am transfering everything over to a shortbed frame.

Problem was the guy had no title....so to get a title I had to get a bonded title which meant the Texas Dept. of Transportation had to put a value on my truck. They take the average NADA and multiply by 1 and 1/2. NADA on my truck (Average selling price) was almost $12,000. I had to get a bond for $18,000....Cost was $300.00.
