I saw an article some time back and what they had to do was basically cut a large hole where the regulator is now, cut it with the intention of returning it where it came from in order to get to the next step, it's because if you look into the door on a 64-66 you will notice a large bulge at the bottom front of the door, this will have to be removed in order for the one piece windows to be installed along with the front channel being installed there. BTW I have seen where this makes the door flimsy.
