Pull a valve cover and get a # off the head. I had an LS6 I bought off the original owner,70SS Chevelle, 450 hp. I believe the last 3 digits in the head casting were 290, but I'm not positive. If it's the real deal, it will be worth real money to the guy's restoring the Corvettes and Chevelles. You could probably trade for a nice LS conversion!
