Thumbs up Re: 700R4 and NP205 combo

I've been running the NP205 - 700R4 for 6 or 7 years now and there is a world of difference between this setup and the old Turbo 350. Having an overdrive and the ability to regulate the shift points (Bowtie Overdrives transmission linkage gives you that adjustability) is awesome!!

I went with the Level II 700R4 because it has extra heavy duty internals over their standard build. I had them (BTO) install the proper output shaft to match the NP205. Very economical to have them (the experts) do it on their own transmission. Came with a great warranty also.

I remember moving my engine forward approximatly 1 3/4". I think most of the new engine and transmission crossmember holes were already drilled in the frame? It was a long time ago, but I'm pretty sure there was minimal drilling.
