If the heater hoses are hot I'm bettin' on mouse nest in front of the heater core, stopping air flow through the core. You have to take the outside housing off to get it out. If you have to do that you may have to drop the inner panel on that side to get to the fasteners on the bottom of the housing. There are some threads on here about it.
