Never done it, but... from the looks of things IIWM, I would consider putting something in the pipe (top of my head, folded metal clothes hanger until it fills the tube as much as possible) down to and just past that first bend from the opening. Then take a tubing bender (brake/fuel line bender available at the local parts store for $10) and just bend that first curve out straight. Carefully. The clothes hanger (or whatever you fill the tube with) would provide a mandrel of sorts and possibly keep the tube from cracking or folding.
