bigsnook . you hit it .thats pretty much the way i install them . the chrome does make a little harder . i would use pilkington glass .they seem to be the best ones for the old trucks right now. since ppg glass was sold and is now pgw its just not the same .i had a 67 and i have a couple of squares .have put glass in all of them . the pilkington looks and fits the best.
