Guess I should have re-read my post before putting it up. The rearend is in fact out of a '71 not a '70. Thanks for the correction as well.

I'll check the back spacing on the wheels. The wheels are 5 on 5 I do know that for sure. At the same time as I measure back spacing, I'll get the backing plate to backing plate measurement.

Is it a common theme having to roll the fender lip with any new(er) wheels?

Edit: Wheel back spacing is 4 1/4". Backing plate to backing plate appears to be 56 3/4" (inside dimension of backing plates).
