Wow.....I started reading about tach adapters on Jegs and Mallory and MSD websites and from what I see....I NEED to have one since I upgraded to HEI and I'm running an "old school" tach.

but, now the question about accuracy becomes an issue.

Why put a tach adapter on if the tach doesn't read properly because of the way it was built back then?

So......when I was building my dash I really wanted the "in dash" tach and now I'm hearing that it's a piece of junk?

If that is the case......why bother at all?

Might be looking for other options....and probably need to change the title of this thread too ;-)
