Ultimately, it's your truck - do what you want. If it is a stock truck in very good original condition, I probably wouldn't cut the body and find something that has already has body modifications or convert a 4wd.

I'm not a purest. I would love to have a customized 2wd blazer, but I also appreciate the stock trucks.
