Today's update.

All the old body mount brackets are cut off.

Welding struts to frame to replace bed cross members. Still have the front to do and the angled support brackets on the longer ones. They are at different heights depending on which factory brace they support. Notice I left the old mounting tab on the frame. It is a good reference point for where the old box mounted/ its level with the rear of the frame. I have been laying my level across these 2 points and clamping the correct scrap bed cross-member to the bottom to find the correct height of each strut.

Started cleaning the frame to paint. Don't think I've ever seen such a shiny frame.
