How's the reputation of Clevite (sp?) camshafts? I found through Kragens a cam, lifter, and timing components kit for roughly $200. I've used clevite bearings and they seem to have worked fine.

I am also considering going a little further in this project and pulling the engine entirely so I can replace the rear seal and pan gaskets too. Then I reckon I better do a torque converter seal and trans pan/fluid change. Geeze, how it snow balls.

Anyone got tips to offer on the rear seal? I've never replaced one these old two piece arrangements before.
