Keep in mind I am no novice at this as I have built and restored VW'S Street Rods etc for myself and others. Just wondering is this a common problem with LMC products or a common complaint with everyone's products my dad say's nothing today is worth a sh#$ LOL .He just did a 64 El Camino for himself and he said the rubber and stuff did not fit worth a sh#$ on it either do not remember what brand it was.

I bought all new rubber from LMC for my truck back in October, it's perfectly fine and all fit very well. Sounds to me like your power window motors are about shot. I replaced both window motors and lubed the tracks when I did the weather stripping-----there's no way my old tired motors would have pushed the windows up into the new tight weatherstripping all the way. The rubber breaks in eventually and it's not as tight.....but you need good motors!
