. Deland,I always dug the big tandems over singles and there were always so many singles at the shows. Someone pointed out most guys went for them because of garage space. Well DUH! Now I see and what the hey. It's not like you're hauling a huge cargo anymore. I still diggum bigger,though. I traveled a good bit in the early '70s and that';s when the big trucks really kicked in with me. They were doing what I was doing,only getting paid. Plus,I saw trucks I never saw back home. Out in the open west the trucks were bigger and meaner. The loggers in the NW,the cattle haulers all over,doubles...etc. They sure are nostalgic for me.
