I didn't want to cut my doors. The pod fits above the window crank. I will wrap the door panel in vinyl once I get my seats.
<edit> You could fit them just about anywhere in the door depending on what you are doing with the rest of the door. I've only ever used plates high in the dash, but you could put these where Dino put the rear door speakers in the burb. |
That's sweet but I don't have the fabrication skills for that. I was thinking of cutting my doors, making it look really kick ass and make a leather cover of sorts to make the speakers tie into the door, like they are suppose to be there. I'm also going to sound insulate the doors really good to help with road noise and make whatever speaker system I install sound better.
