Thanks for the info. I won a brand spanking new alternator for a Camaro for only $15.00 on ebay!

The guy paid $85 but could not return it since he did not have a receipt. The problem was wiring in his car and not the alternator! From the pictures it looks like a direct plug in if it you have the same kind. Seller stated that it fit an 84-86
