I've been down this road already.

IF you are going back with stock "Antique/Restored" or the older gauges as oem, you will and can use 30 ohm. If you use modern after market guages you will need to have the sending unit's resisitor change to a 90 ohm. You can buy the OEM sending unit and ship it off to have the reisitor changed.

Dolphin Gauges "Use to do the changeout" but layers got involved and an issue of liablilty came up so they will no longer do it. They was a guy on the Stovebolt page who advertised to do it. Mayorga?
