The ride should be fine, with the correct drop shocks, and trimmed bumpstops.
The height of the crossmember from the ground, is the real issue.

I see tons of members install a 3/5 "spring only" drops on their trucks, because it's an affordable drop.
No one complains about the ride quality.
BUT,... when you add a 3" front spring to a drop spindle,... everyone acts like it's some kind of voodoo!

Anyone going with an 5"-6" front drop has to realize there are going to be issues with the inner fenders, front tire height, and speed bumps.

So what's all the ride quality concerns?
