Vacuum Lines

orange72350....

I forgot the damn camera... so here is the explaination, and I will post pictures tonight.

1 - 1/4" vacuum line from the vacuum advance to base-plate vacuum port on carb.

1 - 1/4" vacuum line from transmission shifting module to back of intake (right behind the carb)

1 - 3/8" vacuum line from base plate on the back of carb to your brake booster. If you don't have power brakes then screw a plug into the back of the carb - don't over tighten because you will get a nasty vacuum leak.

1 - 3/8" line from the large port on the base plate of the front of the carb to the PCV on the valve cover.

I belive another 1/4" line goes to the vacuum canister mounted to the AC box in the engine bay, but this one can be blocked unless you need it. I have a vacuum gauge mounted to mine for tuning purposes. If your truck had a factory vacuum gauge then maybe it would have used the extra port on the carb.

Remember... unless it is the original Q-Jet from your truck. These remanufactured Q-Jets from AutoZone and O'Reilly are for a wide range of years.

Forexample... I went through 3 carbs from AutoZone, and everyone of then was different in some way or another.
