I think the biggest influence is whether the paint your using is metalic or not. I chose a non metalic so it should match panel to panel. If it were metalic I wouldn't attempt it, I have seen guys that could, but I'm not one of them. I do hope I got enough paint, as that would probably be more noticable.
It's Omni (PPG's cheap line) base coat clear coat.
Your truck is lookin good. Wish you were closer, I would like that long bed.
