a 67 GTO is my dream car. I think I found a 66/67 tempest today(pretty sure a 67)...sitting in someones back yard, it was half covered by a tarp- it may be a 4-door. But the wife said to go check ot out- so I plan to. I want to do a clone- so I don't feel guilty for modding the crap out of a real Goat.
I agree about the keep the car, buy the porterbuilt route- this is my plan. The porterbuilt front end is 95% bolt in. Unless the car is trully worth less than the cost to do it right, I can't see any GTO in even decent shape is worth an air ride suspension. You'll NEVER get the money back out of the truck. But the GTO's value will never go down.
