I put an original AM in my stock uncut dash. I rerouted all wires under my seat almost directly in the center. My head unit fits perfectly between the bottom of the seat and the floorboard, and is held in place with Velcro on the underside. The faceplate is mounted flush with the edge of the seat and it is "almost" completely hidden to the untrained eye. You should see my friends trying to turn the radio station on the original unit.

I decided to go this route for a couple reasons.

1. I've had components stolen in the past and the more the crook can see, the more the crook can take.

2. I like the look of these trucks with uncut dashes and "original looking" interiors. I don't think the cut dashes look horrible, I just prefer not.
