I am using a ZR2 rear axle with 15x8 rallyes from wheel vintiques.Right now I have 265-70s I have no clearance problems with it. I picked the tires up used cheap to see how they fit I had 255-70 in the shed.
I will probably try a shorter tire these are a little to tall. the frame is an 89 S10 setting at stock height for now. If I went any wider or had a narrower rear end I would have to use wheel tubs in the bed.
