you can switch out just the spindles and rotors from a 73-87 c10, for little of nothing. of course I would change brake pads and bearings but you could get most of it one time and then the new replacement stuff the next.

If your looking for drop spindles then good luck, they are out there but even used ones will be over $75 each I would think. if you found drops, you would still need the rotors and calipers along with the bearings and pads so it would be smart to get the disc brake stuff stated earlier until you find drop spindles.

I wouldnt hob-nob my brakes, spend a few extra dollars and get a proven solution. Just my opinion.
