i just got back from Fairfield. i purchased a 1970 short bed step side that was on CL ,it turns out the truck is a CST with new interior / tilt tach, no rust hugger orange. fully loaded -A/C. I GOT A SCREAMING DEAL ON THE TRUCK. i ran the vin and model number, it turns out the truck is from the Fremont plant ,and it looks like it was a second owner truck. i'll bring it home next weekend. i just need to bolt it back together. it looks like someone was restoring it and then stored it . new interior , carpet, head liner all CST badges, uncut dash, i can't get over how cool this truck is. this one is right up there with some of my best barn finds.... i'll post some pictures when get it home and inventoried.
