I would have to agree, all of us have sat idle for so long over our hobby < i think that it is time to get involved!

I've gotta go through an out of province inspection with my Blazer (from sask!), hope it goes less bumpy than your experience.
Thanks, and I agree, it depends on who is doing the inspection, but if i were to get pulled over again, which i will cause i work there, they will just do this again!

I can't believe some of the things they want you to change!! The boxed frame? Page 29 of their own vehicle equipment regulations state that modifications to the frame of vintage vehicles is allowed as long as it properly supports the vehicle and its load without distortion. How is boxing the frame affecting this? The original frame hardly supports these trucks without distortion!

Side markers are not required prior to January 1, 1972. And there is nothing about DOT approved fuel cells either. Anyway its pretty much all covered maybe SGI should look at this as whoever is complaining about your truck clearly hasn't.

There is a lot of crap on the road targeting safe vehicles like this that only see limited mileage anyway really sucks.
I have gone through all of that with them, they do not go by those printings, in fact they told me that it is over multiple pages and books, they could not pin point the exact [aragraph cause it was everyone, and not out in the open, nothin like taking it out of context!!! they do not even have a clue!!! it says this and they mean that, it all depends on their mood for the day. It even states that bluedots are DOT approved in modified vintage vehicles, but no where does it state that the only blue dot that they approve is from the taillamps of a 32 ford!!! talk about misconstrueing the books!!
