It's just a matter of money and preference on how you get the job done. I prefer to use drop spindles to gain as much as possible up front. My first choice is a 3" spindle, and cut the stock spring 1 coil to get 1.5-2" more drop.

In the rear use a lowering shackle and raise the spring hanger, or do a flip kit if you want more.

I do not recommend a 3" drop spring. My experience has been that they do not ride well at all.
