Agreed, think you're shooting WAY too far ahead trying to aim for a 10-second pickup off the bat.... That's a lot of investment to get it there & not something that's gonna drive nice on the street without EFI to let it idle ok. A true 10-second car isn't gonna be one that's gonna be your daily driver - you're gonna have to compromise to have something you're happy with daily, but is still respectable at the track or on the street "stop light-to-stop light".
