It sounds like you need a larger bore master for the size of the slave cylinder you are using. You want the bore of the master to be equal to or slightly larger than the bore of the slave cylinder. IMO having them both the same size bore works best. The largest bore available for the Wilwood 260-1034 is .750". If you need a 1" bore, you will have to go with the Wilwood 260-6766.
In the power brake conversion kits I sell for the '60-'62's, I include either a 260-6766 or a 260-6764, depending on the slave cylinder being used.
