I didn't really get the fake patina thing at first but as someone who has done some body work and seen lots of cars with great paint that are crap underneath I do really appreciate a truck that's still wearing it's original finish.

I'm not into all the nasty rust and signs of obvious rough use and abuse but there is something really cool about one that's been kept in nice shape with regular care and the paint is just rubbed thin in spots from age and regular well-earned baths. I'd take a older truck with a thin original paint job over one with a fresh splash-job any day.

Still haven't seen the one I was looking for, please post more if you have them....
