I have been a member of the forum for a little while now, but can finally introduce myself, now that I have a new 66 project.
Picked up the truck in Hollywood about a month ago. Interior is Original (except steering wheel), outside is just two tone primer, Original wood bed (needs replacing), and a 350/350 auto from a donor 84. The front suspension is from the 84 donor aswell, hints the disc brakes, and 5 lug. Also has power steering and power brakes.
It has been a blast to drive so far. I'm not planning on anything crazy for the truck, for now. I would like to leave the white upper cab, but redo the blue with just simple black primer. I'm ordering 15" chrome smoothies, with bullet center cap. Have a almost new set of white walls for the smoothies sitting in my garage. Add carpet to the inside. To finish with 2 1/2" drop spindles up front and a 4" drop coil in the rear.
