Yes, swapping the AMP meter for a voltage meter is a simple swap.

Remove the amp meter. Remove the 'clips' on the back of the housing that allow contact to be made w/the printed circuit board. Install the voltage gauge. Connect a good under-dash 12v power source to the voltage gauge & then another that will ground it under the dash to the cab wall.
