Not necessarily, depending on what 14 bolt you use. If a 1 ton axle is used (40.5" perch spacing), it should bolt right up. 3/4 ton 14 bolts used 42.5" perch spacing, so they would need to be moved. My Dad has had two different 14 bolts installed in his '68 K30 dump ('70 or '71 Suburban frame, can't remember which ) and they were both a direct bolt in (as far as the springs are concerned). The latest is from an '86 bread truck (cab-and-chassis dually axle). With this one he did have to move the shock mounts, as it had the later positions (LH shock on the front of the axle and RH shock on the rear side). The single wheel 14 bolt he had in there had them both on the front of the axle, so they didn't need to be moved. So you may have to move the shock mounts, but again, depends on the year axle chosen. Either way the springs should bolt up, as long as it's a 1 ton axle...
