That gooseneck ball in the bed is a good indication of something that's probably been worked pretty hard.
Waaay too much rust for the price...if you're going to come to Texas for a truck, make it West Texas. We have much less rain and overall humidity than other parts of the state. The only rigs I see with that much rust have out of state plates...
