Guys...
Trucks (at least the 69-70---I am not sure about the other years) with Buckets were the ones that had factory carpet over the gas tanks. (Not all Vendors have the factory correct gas tank carpet. My came from GMCPauls and the fit was perfect)
The back of the cab has a metal strip that the carpet is screwed into. The top of the carpet is folded over. At least that is my understanding.
