Help me build a 4 link 73-87 GM 1500

Hey guys, I am going to 4 link my truck. Its a 1982 Chevy 1500 already slammed 6" in the front and 7" in the rear. I am looking to get the biggest tire possible in the back and get as much traction as I can. The truck is street drivin and will see the track lots. There is never anything in the box. I'd like to keep it as low as it is in the back without doing frame rails. however i am going to notch it anyways so I may or may not do rails.

I have been searching for weeks. I have come across a couple bolt on kits, however they bolt onto the outside of the frame rail. I have been looking at Competition Engineerings Universal kit. Now using this kit without doing rails can I mount them inside the frame? What length 4 link do you recomend? What length shocks and springs? What rate of springs as well?

Does anyone have any pictures of their 4 link kit with stock framerails? Also does anyone have pics of their 4 link kit with aftermarket rails?

I have looked at the back half kits as well. Are they worth it? How well do they fit or are they pretty universal?
