When you say new 8" stainless rings are they factory GM if not and they are aftermarket I am pretty sure they would be 3" deep chrome plated steel. The factory GM 3" run about 80 bucks a ring $320.00 for a set. 50 bucks is still a very good price on chrome ones and if these are indeed factory GM which I cannot tell from the pick I will take them.
