I had headers on my engine, so when I took out my 350, I had to cut the exhaust and weld in new down pipes when I put the diesel in. I believe that if you have stock manifolds on the small block though, everything will bolt right back up to it. He's planning on turbo-ing his engine though, and that's a completely different animal. That means you need a cross-over pipe that goes from the driver's side and connects to the passenger's side, and a turbo manifold, and all the exhaust comes out of the single output from the turbo.
