Between September 2008 and September 2009, The truck sat under a cover in a barn while I finished my Marine Corps active duty career, and began working as a civilian and going to college. By this time, the engine was leaking pretty bad, the transmission was slipping really bad, and it just wasn't any fund for dad to drive, so it sat.
Around September 2009, the new-to-me powerplant that had been patiently waited in a warehouse, finally found it's new home between the frame rails of Nasty.
The tank is a stainless steel blazer tank from Southern KY Classics. It came with the fuel pump and sending unit inside already
The wiring harness for the engine and trans was ordered from Howell Engineering. I had their TBI kit on my CJ7, and it worked amazing, so I bit the bullet, and ordered their stand alone kit for the LS series engines.
I know they are by far not the cheapest, and I also had them reflash the PCM to match the specifics of the truck, so I shoveled out some coin. In the end, I feel it was worth every penny. Everything was labeled, and simple plug and play setup.
