Assuming you already have an auto in your truck it should be a pretty straight forward swap. There are plenty of articles out there showing how to wire up the tq conv lockup switch.
With the 4.10 gears this thing should feel like a rocket if it had a
Glide or th trans before and you will get reduced rpm's at cruising speeds. Good luck with the swap, Keep us updated how it goes!
