Yes this engine has the modified head where the head, intake and exhaust are all one piece. The starter is bolted to the block. So i am sure it will bolt in easily. The previous owner even put in gas pedal bracket for an auto-trans. So I am all set except for get the rear hooked up.

Do you think the threads talking about the length include my early saginaw? Becuase they are mentioning vegas, camaros and c10s.

Either way I won't hesitate to shorten the drive shaft.

I read one thread that mentioned a bolt on yoke on an older 200r4 casing. I had a Powerglide once and remember seeing the output shaft having threads in the center. So I am really hoping the 200-r4, even an old one has that feature.

If I could find a '55-'64 3rd member i would go that route too but only after knowing for sure the bolt-on yoke isn't possible on the 200-r4.
