If you want five spoke wheels, you will need to convert. Almost any other style wheel is manufactured in both six and five lug. As for fit, a 14" alloy rim will usually fit front drums, but would NOT fit over disc calipers.
Lowered spindles are only available for disc brakes, but you can choose five lug or six lug rotors if you do the conversion with a new aftermarket kit.
My burb had the 71-72 suspension swapped in when I got it, so I have five lug rotors in the front. I like my 3.07 twelve bolt rear and wide 4wd ralley wheels in the back, so I'm in no hurry to convert the back to five lug
