If you want other info on the wood and what new products to use go to the Mar-K website they have done extensive testing on modern finishes and their results made me decide to use white pine, por15 satin black and baehr satin black uv inhibited because it holds up the best. all of the clears no matter how expensive did not really hold up that well sitting out in the weather.
