I know disc brakes are popular, but bang for the buck, not so good. Rear brakes only provide 20% braking power, disc or not. Unless your hauling 2 tons of brick.

If you have wheels with an open spoke design they do look better than drums, but in your case with rally's, you might use the money elsewhere. Maybe you have future plans for billet wheels or the like????
